For the last decade 10/40 Hope has worked towards reaching the 6,000 unreached people groups of the 10/40 window. Through empowering indigenous ministers and ministries and helping our partners grow, we have worked on accomplishing our part of the great commission. Our board of business CEOs, entrepreneurs, and church leaders always thrive for excellence.
There is currently only 82 evangelical churches in Lebanon catering to more than 6,000,000 people. While some of these churches are on the decline, others are dependent on outside support. Through this 5-year project, we will not only add three self-sufficient community driven churches, but also ones that are able to do what seems to be impossible; start an indigenous driven church planting movement by the end of 2024.
Individual initiatives for church plants have always failed in the past. That’s why this project aims at planting churches through teams that work with the blessing of the areas’ political and cultural leaders. These churches will slowly self-wean off support to encourage self-sufficiency by the end of year 5. They will have strong access to strong ministry training schools. By the end of the program cycle, their mission-oriented graduates will be ready to reproduce this endeavor in a neighboring city or Arab country of choice.
We send missionaries called to the 10/40 window, specifically Lebanon, Jordan, and India.
We currently have one family residing in Jordan and another that goes back and forth to Lebanon.
